October is breast cancer awareness month, a time for people around the world to raise awareness of the disease.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women according to the World Health Organization.

Death rates from breast cancer have been declining since about 1990, in part due to better screening and early detection, increased awareness, and continually improving treatment options.

Despite this, more work needs to be done, and sharing Breast Cancer information may be the first step in getting someone to catch their diagnosis early.
